Here are some pages from the busy two months.

First some winter picture of Matthildur. It´s middle of november here in Iceland and the snow is not here yet so I just have to create a winter fairytale.

My latest pictures

Still a lazy blogger but here are my newest pictures.

This one I made from Catherine´s new kit, Boys retreat. Since I have no boys I decided to do a tough girly pictures of Matthildur. I just love the Land Rover because my father has one and it reminds my of my childhood.

This picture of my hubby and daughter was taken last summer on Tenerife. The gorgeous frame is from Catherine designs, Chic frames and the rest is just mix and match.

This picture I also made from Catherine´s kit, Bisou Bisou.

This picture is soooo diffrent from my usual style but sometimes you just need to step out of your comfort zone and create something totally diffrent. I used Hollie´s new kit, Old School

Lazy blogger

Yep....a lazy blogger but my mojo is here ;-)

This LO I made recently and I used a picture I used on my first LO I posted on DST. I just wanted to use it again because my style has evolved and changed for the last two years.

My princess Jasmine

My daughter got her Jasmine costume over a year ago but just recently started to wear it. And she loves Aladdin, the movie. When I saw this new kit by Newlifedreams, Les Mille et Une Nuits / 1001 Nights I just new I had to have it...and it is gorgeous.
I´ve already made 2 LOs from that kit and I probably will do more later. I'm really happy with how they turned out....and the costume just fits perfectly with the kit :-)

Once upon a time

I finally made a page. My mojo has not been around these days so I´m glad I finally finished a page. My little girl just loves to read and listen to stories.

My house

...in the middle of the street. I made this LO from this fabolous collab by two of my favorite designers, Catherine designs and Createwingsdesigns (and I just happen to be on their CTs ;)). The collab is called Creation 23 and is just filled with goodies.

She´s got the whole world...

in her hand. Yes, it´s her world and it´s pink !!

Waiting for you...

...was soooo hard but you were totally worth the wait !!

Looking back to the wait I see now that it was very short, only 14 month from the decision to adopt until we had her in our arms (7 months from LID to Referral). But the wait was sooo hard because we had been waiting for so many years before the 14 months. Now we have been waiting for about 2 years for a baby sister or a baby brother !!!!!

The first ski trip

A year ago, Matthildur had her first ski trip and had a blast. Unfortunately we have not been able to go again...but hopefully soon. Catherine designs just released a new kit, Winter retreat and it is just perfect for this special moment :-) She also has a matching freebie on her blog, check it out !!

Some news !!!

Am I the luckiest or what !!!!! Catherine (Catherine designs) contacted me and asked if I could be on her guest CT. She is such an amazing scrapper and a designer so the decision was not hard. She has been my inspiration since I started digiscrapping and her gallery was one of the first I bookmarked :-) So....yay !

My newest LO is very dear to me. It is a picture of my daughter Matthildur and her best friend Sigga Bára. Their friendship is very special and they love each other very much, only 5 days apart, both from China and came home together and have this special relationship that I wanted to capture. The text is from an Icelandic song and says: A trusted friend can make a miracle !

2008

One of the highlight of 2008 was our trip to Tenerife, Spain last summer with our dear friends. Matthildur had a blast on the beach and here are some of the photos I took of her playing.

I wish all of you out there in digiland a happy new year and thanks for your nice comments on my layouts. I´m looking forward to a wonderful scrapyear 2009 :-)
