My fireplace

A few years ago we bought an ethanol fireplace for our livingroom.  We´ve never used it much because it gets so hot inside the house ;-)  So sometimes I´ve put something else in the fireplace, like candles in the winter time and once I put some big beach pebbles, shells and a boat in the fireplace.
The other day I was browsing the internet and saw this great idea from this great blog, Skreytum hús where she uses big candles and logs.

.....and I decided to do the same and sent my lumberjack out to cut some wood ;-)

So here is my "new" fireplace:

Two little birdies

I can´t decide if I should use the birds or not !  What do you think, birds or no birds:

So I´m really happy with my new fireplace :-)
