Christmas Calendar, December 24.

24.desember

vorn barnaher.
Ein sú stjarna, sterkust er.

Gaum sú gefur, gleðitár.
Geislar fegurð, græðir sár.
Sameinar sálir,
sem eina heild.
Hátíð heimsins, óumdeild.

Ein sú stjarna, sterkust er.
Heimsins hugar óska sér.
Um háloft heimsins,
hamingjan fer.

Jólastjarnan sterkust er.

Gleðileg jól kæru vinir <3>

Day 24, The day before Christmas / Christmas eve

Icelanders celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. The family gets together in the evening and that is when presents are exchanged. During the following two days everyone goes to Christmas parties and meets with grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

The last picture in the Christmas Calendar is the Christmas Star :)

Merry Christmas to all my friends from all over the world <3 nbsp="">
