Food photography

Food photography

I´m very much interested in taking food photos and I love looking at beautiful food photography.  But unfortunately I'm not that good in the kitchen, cooking and baking ;)

But today is Bolludagur or Bun day/Cream puff day in Iceland.  Bun day/Cream puff day is the Monday in the seventh week before Easter and two days before Ash day. Playful beatings and the eating of cream buns arrived in Iceland as Bun Day traditions from Scandinavia in the late 19th Century and it remains the custom to eat several types of cream filled buns. Bakeries and cafés have wide selections, and many people bake buns at home as well.

On that day people usually make cream buns but I like to make my delicious Basil buns.  So I decided to practice my food photography :)
